Type 2 diabetes and prediabetes

Sugar control that works with your medication, not against it.

Your physician decides the medicine. We handle what happens on the plate: which carbohydrate, how much, with what, and at what time. Most clients see fasting numbers settle within the first month.

What is actually happening

Insulin is still there. Your body has stopped listening to it.

Type 2 diabetes is a problem of insulin resistance built up over years. Prediabetes is the same process, earlier, and it is the easiest stage to turn around.

Food will not replace your medication, and we never tell anyone to stop it. What food does is lower the load, which is why physicians often reduce a dose once the numbers hold. That call stays with them.

What clients arrive with

If three of these sound familiar, you are in the right place.

HbA1c creeping up every year despite the same medication

Fasting sugar fine, post meal readings all over the place

Told you are prediabetic and to just eat better, with no detail

Given up rice entirely and still not seeing better numbers

Heavy sleepiness after lunch, every working day

Weight around the middle that will not shift

Two or three medicines already, and worried about a fourth

A family history that makes every reading feel like a verdict

Numbers move when meals are built properly, not when food groups disappear. That is where the plan starts.

How the plan works

Four things we change, in this order.

First

Meal timing around medication

We align meals with when your medicine works, so you stop swinging between highs and crashes.

Second

Carbohydrate pairing

Rice and roti stay, portioned and always paired with protein, dal, curd or vegetables.

Third

Fibre and fat quality

More fibre at the start of a meal, better cooking oil, and less of the frying that quietly raises everything.

Fourth

Movement after meals

A ten minute walk after dinner does more for post meal sugar than most people expect.

What we track

HbA1c every three months
Fasting and post meal readings from your own glucometer
Lipid profile, kidney function and liver enzymes
Weight, waist and body composition
Any medication change your physician makes

Foods people ask about

Rice: stays, portioned, paired, and eaten earlier in the day
Fruit: stays, whole, timed, never as juice
Sugar free sweets and diabetic biscuits: rarely worth it
Millets: useful, but not magic and not unlimited
Karela juice and cinnamon water: not a substitute for a plan

Medication reduced

Statin halved and Glycomet reduced to 250 mg

Medication reduced under his doctor’s guidance alongside the diet. Progress that comes from consistency, not pressure.

Questions we get asked

Diabetes, answered plainly.

Can type 2 diabetes be reversed?

Prediabetes often can. Established diabetes is controlled rather than cured, and control can be good enough that your physician reduces medication.

Will you change my medicines?

Never. Every dose stays with your physician. We share your numbers so their decision is better informed.

Do I have to stop rice?

No. Rice stays, portioned, paired with protein and usually moved earlier in the day.

How soon will my numbers change?

Fasting and post meal readings usually settle within three to four weeks. HbA1c takes a full three months to reflect it.

Do I need a continuous glucose monitor?

Not required. If you already use one we will read it. A regular glucometer and honest logging works just as well.

Can I do this from outside India?

Yes. Diabetes is one of our most common online programs, with appointments scheduled in advance over WhatsApp.

Riddhi's note

Most people arrive having given up rice, fruit and sweets entirely, and their numbers are still bad. Diabetes does not respond to guilt. It responds to what you eat together, and when.
