Fatty liver

Liver fat comes down through weight and sugar. Nothing you drink will do it.

Grade 1, 2 or 3, the route is the same: lose visceral fat, flatten insulin, cut the fructose and the fried food, and give it time. Enzymes usually settle before the ultrasound catches up.

What fatty liver is

Fat stored where it was never meant to sit.

Non alcoholic fatty liver disease means fat has accumulated inside liver cells, usually alongside insulin resistance and weight around the middle. Most people find out from a routine ultrasound and are told to lose weight, with no plan attached.

It is reversible, and it is patient work. Fructose, refined carbohydrate, fried food and alcohol drive it up. Weight loss, protein, fibre and sleep bring it down. There is no supplement that shortcuts this.

What clients arrive with

If three of these sound familiar, you are in the right place.

Grade 1 or grade 2 fatty liver found on a routine ultrasound

SGPT and SGOT above range with no explanation offered

Told to lose weight, with nothing said about how

Weight sitting around the middle, arms and legs still slim

Heaviness on the right side after a large meal

Tired all afternoon, and a poor sleeper at night

Prediabetes or diabetes alongside the liver report

Bought liver detox powders and seen nothing change

The liver responds to visceral fat, sugar and sleep. Those are the three things your plan starts with.

Book a consultation

How the plan works

Four things we change, in this order.

First

Fructose and refined carbs

Juice, sweets, bakery and cold drinks go first. They feed liver fat faster than anything else on the plate.

Second

Cooking oil and frying

Oil measured by the spoon and frying reduced to a weekly event rather than a daily one.

Third

Protein and fibre

Enough protein to hold muscle while you lose fat, and fibre at the start of meals to flatten the sugar curve.

Fourth

Steady fat loss

Five to seven percent of body weight is where liver fat usually starts moving. We get there slowly and hold it.

What we track

SGPT, SGOT and GGT, every three months
Ultrasound grade, repeated when your doctor advises
Fasting insulin, glucose and HbA1c
Lipid profile and waist measurement
Alcohol, sleep hours and late night eating

Foods people ask about

Fruit: stays, whole and portioned. Juice does not
Ghee: stays, by the spoon, not by the ladle
Alcohol: paused while we bring the enzymes down
Coffee: fine, and mildly helpful, without sugar
Liver detox powders and milk thistle: not something we recommend

Questions we get asked

Fatty liver, answered plainly.

Can fatty liver be reversed?

Yes, in most cases at grade 1 and grade 2. It takes sustained fat loss rather than a short cleanse.

How long does it take?

Enzymes often improve in two to three months. A change in ultrasound grade usually needs six months or more.

I do not drink at all. Why do I have it?

Non alcoholic fatty liver comes from insulin resistance, refined carbohydrate and visceral fat. Alcohol is only one route to it.

Do I need liver supplements?

No. We do not sell them and we do not recommend them. Food, weight and sleep do the work.

Can I ever drink again?

That is a conversation for your doctor once your enzymes are stable. While we are bringing them down, we pause it.

Can I do this from outside India?

Yes. Send your ultrasound and liver reports and we work on video, with appointments scheduled in advance over WhatsApp.

Riddhi's note

People come in frightened by the word fatty liver and then spend money on detox powders. The liver does not need cleaning. It needs you to stop overloading it, and it recovers quietly once you do.
