IBS and gut health

Settle the bloating first. Then we put the food back, one at a time.

Most people arrive eating six things and still uncomfortable. We calm the symptoms, then reintroduce what you cut out, so you end the program eating more than when you started.

What IBS is

A gut that works, but overreacts.

Irritable bowel syndrome is a diagnosis of pattern, not of damage. Your scopes come back clean and you still spend afternoons bloated, or plan your day around a bathroom.

It responds to timing, fibre type, portion size, sleep and stress far more than to a long list of banned foods. If your doctor has ruled out coeliac disease and inflammatory bowel disease, this is exactly the kind of problem food gets to solve.

What clients arrive with

If three of these sound familiar, you are in the right place.

Flat stomach in the morning, visibly bloated by evening

Constipation and loose motions taking turns

Acidity every evening, antacids in every bag

Planning journeys and meetings around the bathroom

Already cut out wheat, dairy, onion and garlic on your own

Endoscopy and colonoscopy clean, symptoms unchanged

Symptoms worse in a stressful week, every time

Afraid to eat out because you cannot predict the aftermath

Cutting more food is rarely the answer. We settle the gut first, then widen the plate deliberately.

How the plan works

Four things we change, in this order.

First

Meal timing and gaps

Fixed meal times, smaller portions and a proper gap before bed. This alone settles most evening bloating.

Second

A short calming phase

Two to four weeks of simpler, low trigger food to bring symptoms down. Not a permanent elimination diet.

Third

Reintroduction, one at a time

Wheat, dairy, onion, garlic and pulses come back individually so you learn what actually troubles you.

Fourth

Sleep and stress load

The gut follows the nervous system. Sleep timing and a wind down routine are part of the plan, not an afterthought.

What we track

A daily symptom and stool diary, kept simple
Which foods provoke what, from the reintroduction log
Haemoglobin, vitamin D and B12
Any endoscopy, colonoscopy or coeliac test you already have
Sleep, stress and antacid use, week to week

Foods people ask about

Wheat: paused briefly, then tested properly before it is blamed
Milk: often fine as curd or paneer even when milk is not
Onion and garlic: reduced, not banned, then reintroduced
Probiotic drinks: sometimes useful, usually oversold
Raw salads at night: often the hidden cause of evening bloating

Questions we get asked

IBS, answered plainly.

Is IBS curable?

It is manageable to the point where it stops running your day. Flares can return in a stressful stretch, and by then you know what to do.

Do I have to follow a low FODMAP diet forever?

No. A short structured phase, then reintroduction. Staying restricted for years narrows your diet and your gut bacteria.

Should I stop wheat and dairy?

Only after we test them properly. Most clients tolerate both in some form, and blaming them without evidence costs you two food groups.

Do I need probiotics?

Sometimes, for a defined period and a defined reason. We do not sell them.

How long before I feel better?

Most clients notice less bloating and acidity within two to three weeks. Reintroduction takes another two or three months.

Can I do this from outside India?

Yes. The diary and the reintroduction work identically on video, with plans built around what you can buy locally.

Riddhi's note

By the time someone with IBS reaches me they are usually down to a handful of safe foods and still uncomfortable. My job is not to take anything else away. It is to give most of it back, carefully.
